I am pretty lucky that here in Colorado Springs, we get to ride pretty much year-round in between snow storms.  I say this as I sit here looking out the window at 4 inches of snow, following a great weekend of 60 degree sunny weather.  I was wondering if anybody else gets to/wants to ride all year long?

If my bike was running I usually have an opportunity most years to pretty much year round but I haven't  for many years. I would love to though.

I ride year all year depending on the snow pack. Can't get out with snow on the roads but if the roads are clear I'll ride. I live in the city so I get out frequently during the winter since the county keeps the roads clear.

There is NOTHING BETTER than a winter ride. And I ride "old school". No windshield, face shield, fairings, etc. Just my leathers, gloves and bandannas. I LOVE IT! ;) Several years ago I moved to a rural location with a dirt road. Once the snow falls I am done riding until Spring. Not good. When I lived in the city I rode year round. Now I am at the mercy of Northern Michigan weather. Last year I was done in October! This year has been a gift. STILL no snow on the road. I rode yesterday and will likely ride for several more days if the weather forecast is correct. :)

Been without bike for many long years. Ex got rid of it, later I got rid of her. But used to ride almost year round. When bike is running again it will happen again. Many thinks to this web site and the many people on it. It has been a joy to be here. Ride Safe Ride Free to all.

It's active members like you that make this site work....!

Not able to ride year round. The weather typically fucking sucks which prevents me..... Wish I could.

Oh yeah. Year round. :) There is no other way.....

Cant ride year round. :(

For all those that can't ride all year, I feel your pain.  And as BBNX said, there is nothing like a winter ride with clear roads and snow everywhere.  And the bike LOVES the cold.  Very responsive, and it just wants to run...

Happy Holidays to everyone!

No all year riding here. :(

The only time I don't ride my main bike is when there's a lot of ice or snow on the ground. It's just too heavy to keep upright.
I do have an sx250 dirt bike for those times, but the rest of the year I'm on the road.
Plenty of wd40 or gt85 sprayed on all the electrics will keep you running through the worst of the rain, spare jeans in a bin bag inside the panniers means you can have dry clothes when you get to work.
It's not always as much fun as heading for the coast on a sunny day, but every ride is magic.
