Yesterday, I added 3 new patches to my vest/cut. Boots, Charmine, and Coleen. 3 ladies in two years. 3 too many lost to cancer. While my patches were being sewn on, I looked at some of the other vests waiting to have patches added. Most of the patches were 'smartass' sayings; not many were about respect or honor. Today, it got me to thinking about cuts/vests and what's on yours and why and who the heck started the whole cut instead of vest thing? If you've got questions or opinions about what's on mine, go ahead your turn! Tell me and show me yours!! ~A
Permalink Reply by BBNX on July 29, 2012 at 8:24pm I don't wear a vest..... Never have. I wear my jacket 99% of the time. And my leather only has a few patches on it and I won't be adding any additional.
It's sad that you've lost 3 friends in 2 years. Incredible. Sorry to hear that. I REALLY like your vest and that is has meaning though. There are sooooo many vests that are over populated with pointless sayings, etc. It's very cool that you have obviously put thought into yours. Almost like you were getting a tattoo! You take the patches seriously and that is refreshing. :)

My husband's patch states: "I am sick and tired of burying my brothers and sisters to preserve America's right to drive stupid."
My patch states: "I am sick and tired of my brothers and sisters dying to preserve America's right to drive like assholes."
I wanted a patch like my husband's but evidently it is not made anymore. Mine was as close as I could get to his which is quite old. ~A

Thank you!
