The Lil Girl stands alone in the cold, for an EVO she drips and stains.

You’d think she was a babe for all the blots she leaves behind in disdain,

You’d think at her age she’d give a care, stop being so damn lame.

But it’s not her fault she has the leaks, it’s not her fault at all.

She’s OBSOLETE in many ways, the factory tells me so.

Well FUCK the factory: fuck em all, for what do those freaks know?

My Lil Girl's tired and  her seals they maybe weak,

But she still has the heart to blow the minds of those who doubt away.

She don’t give a shit about the factory freaks:  her old heart will not sway,

She keeps my spirit, my loyalty strong. She feeds my lust each day.

I love my Lil Girl, my gentle friend; she keeps the hounds at bay.

Awe,...true love...

I was told yesterday by the shop a part I wanted was obsolete.  FUCK em...I asked my friend Tim to find it...he did...turns out the shop has 2 of the fucking parts on the shelf. Stupid parts guys (kids) don't know jack about Harleys.... and don't care.

If your firend cannot find it, holler, I have several bike shops i have great relations with...My best friend has been in the business 25 years, and may be able to get it for you. I had at one time almost 30 dealers acorss the country selling my handlebar risers...Will help if you need...
Wicked poem! I rode a 46 knuckle for over 20 years and she took me from one state to the next for all those years. This is song material!
You string the chords together...and put the words to em...and I'll be cool...and let ya have the words for your song... (just smile at the thought of my pissy anger at the factory from time to time!) I rode a 59 Pan for many years.  Back then,  it was easy to find parts for them. (in 1978)...you could hit any HD shop that had been in business longer than the 70's and find the dusty parts on the shelves...I loved the old shops...before the factory started designing them...I loved the way they smelled, I enjoyed the old buildings they inhabited, I can remember one, the building kinda leaned to the right. I'll bet if a good strong wind came along...it would fall down around us! I miss those places.

never mind i  read  futher and realised ya were talking to Chessie LOL

though it  was your fault  putting that lovely knuck up for raffle infront of my eyes making me drool

:) I know... You should have seen the lens of my camera. Hell of a time getting the shot. I kept drooling all over the place...camera too...sigh... I was wet.
my lil 97 has obsolete parts too. last bike shop decided my light switch was 'broke'...they replaced it with a heritage switch, Now why would a biked shop replace a FXSTC switch with a heritage switch?
I KNOW!!!! and why didn't they tell ya? HUH?????? What's up with these rats?  I just wanna know. Lazy. Rather than search for the one needed...or telling us so we can go looking for it...rats....
what's really sad is that  they've put it in writing my bike, a 97 FXSTC softtail custom, is a heritage FLSTC. Now I gave the wrong switch & it looks like crap. $30 part plus labor I get to eat.
aah the knuckleheads the lovely  knuckleheads...from the first time i saw you i knew it would be the kinda love that would never leave. i love your thump and thunderous roar and how it must be how heaven to be aloft a knucklehead. hearts in time with the engine and the  sound harmonizing its own tune you  realise your forever hooked on knucklehead heaven. the image of the knucklehead is forever tattooed on my  body to  remind me of the heaven sitting on such a wonderful  steed.
wait till you see this then
