is anyone going to the Sturgis rally? i'm staying at the buffalo chip this year..4th to the 11th, i'm leaving from sw Minnesota on the morning of the4th and am looking for people to ride with...let me know if anyone is interested.

Double Hey! I'd like to join also. I am a greenspoon on this avenue...I am in Illinois and not yet a rider. I have become inspired for two reasons: First, I am a writer at heart and my MC in my trilogy rides a customized BMW (so many to select from for my MC so more intense research is needed to be accurate and to respect veteran Bikers. Second, I live on a block where my neighbors are dyed in the wool Bikers and the life-style has taken an interest. If you met me in person, many of you would simply think that I was a kidder, but I am not. I am the real deal. Third, who cares about age, I'd like a trike (I've got back injuries and that should not keep me from being a minor player of this world of independent freedom). I hope to be accepted for introduction and getting to know so many of you. And this is weird, so I'll throw it in there while I am yakking, I am fascinated by submarines and all things Military. So there. I was introduced to motorcycles in the 3rd grade and dated a fellow who had a beautiful ride. I'm looking for lessons for 2013 and the area we live in are chock full of Bikers and boaters. I respect this culture and I am learning the freedom here which opposed where we used to live (Barrington). I am about anti-oppression and in the wind..so cheers to Midwest Bikers. Hope to tag along!
