I just read an article on UPI.COM that stated 35% of British Adults sleep with a Teddy Bear. It made me wonder if there were also many adults in the USA that did the same thing.

The media attention for Whitney Houston today was unbearable, over the top and quite honestly, disturbing. WHY is the media and consequently much of the country idolizing Whitney Houston....? SHE KILLED HERSELF! What are people NOT understanding about this....? She lived a life most of us only dream about and she COULDN'T handle it!

You may be familiar with this group nationwide but the Patriot Guard Riders have a Captain in participating States to 'show up' when our Troops come home.  The rides are varied from escorting men and women coming home from Iraq or Afghanistan after their tour or standing there in support when they have fallen and coming home in a casket, showing support for the greiving families that their loved one will be remembered for their brave acts.

I was emailed a YouTube video earlier today. It's a few minutes long and shows a dad (and I use that term lightly) reading a post that his daughter had put on Facebook about him and his wife/her mom. The daughter went off about pretty much the same things virtually every teenager on the planet would complain about. Chores, not being treated fairly, etc.

I contributed to a conversation on Facebook this morning about Michigan helmet laws. As is typical, some of the "pro helmet" people chose to paint the "pro choice" people as being stupid for wanting to ride without a helmet. I am NOT generalizing here, however, I have a hard time understanding how people that want a choice are "stupid".

High 50's yesterday, but I still can't bring myself to ride either of my bikes. Way too much salt on the roads. Very tempting, especially having been recently "retired", Waiting on Puxatauney Phil's forecast for an early Spring. We haven't had Winter yet. Lake isn't frozen, at all.
